Update Aug 28th, 2007
The BOD has elected to accept the Sport-Trainer as a chapter project.
Now it's up to the chapter membership to vote.
Please plan on attending the First Saturday Pancake breakfast
on Saturday Sept 1st.

Please note that there has been a lot of controversies about what this airplane is:
A few things that it is NOT,
#1) It is NOT a Piper CUB.
#2 It is NOT a Super CUB.
#3) It is NOT a Legend or Legacy CUB.

In fact it is NOT a "CUB" at all.

It IS a WAG-AERO Sport Trainer, at least that is what we believe it to be.
Now that's not necessarily a bad deal. Because the WAG-AERO Sport Trainer is and has been a very popular and successful aircraft.
Just thought I'd try to clear up some misconceptions and errors.
Including some on my part, sorry.

Here's a look at what the Wag-Aero Sport Trainer could & should look like when it completed.

Here's what it looks like as of Aug 2007
The Sport Trainer is the yellow kit.

That red and white little airplane is the KR-1 that BJ restored for us.
He did an outstanding job on it.

Notice how that great big hanger has somehow gotten filled up? And everyone thought it was going to be too big !!
You can't see from this view but both sides of the hanger are filled with projects.
