December 2005 hanger update

|
The sheetrock is up and all the joint compound has been
sanded at least three times.
The lights are all installed and all the wiring is finished.
The doors are all installed with the exception of the large 8' wide door leading
out to the hanger. That door will have to be hand built by the building crew.
This room is ready for paint.

The seminar room is painted. Billy Jack had a friend come
in and splatter drag the ceiling. And then the guys went to work cleaning
up all the mud droppings of joint compound and about two inches of just plain
dirt from the floors.
The cleanup took two days but then Billy Jack and Boyce
brought in an air-less spray system and 15 gallons of paint.

The blue outlines
around the light fixtures is masking tape.
The color is an off-white with just a little tint of yellow, the labels on
the paint cans said white. But the room looks great anyway. |

Emmette Craver provided
these photos taken DEC 22nd, 2005.
He also included some pics taken in the kitchen. |

This view is looking
south down the hallway.
The woman's restroom is on the right and the kitchen is on the left. |

Here are some views of the kitchen.
The room is nearly finished and as you can see the crew has been enjoying
it already. Where else did you expect us to have our lunch?

The door by the refrigerator leads to a large 8'x8' pantry
and storage room.
That's about it for December. The work crew is tired and
like everyone else they need to take some time to get ready for Christmas.
