WHEN: Saturday Night, May 12th, 2007
WHERE: EAA Chapter 59 Hanger, McGregor Executive Airport, McGregor, TX.

At McGregor Airport [PWG] on May 12, 2007 at 6:00pm
Just follow the signs at the airport which is located on Highway 84 about 5 miles West of Woodway HEB.

Following our highly successful ragtime music evening last year, Chapter 59 again presents an evening of good music and good food for your enjoyment, as fund raising for the Chapter.

More surprises are in store this year as talented pianist, Monty Suffern will highlight a range of American music over the past 100 years or so.

An upmarket BBQ featuring smoked pork tenderloin, fresh salads and great deserts will ensure you do not go hungry, and the main course will be served at 7:00pm prior to the recital. The event will help celebrate the new EAA hanger.

Make a group with your friends and neighbors, or organize with your work colleagues or Church friends to join you for this great, fun filled evening. Spring time in Texas is made for events such as these.

Fly in if the weather and the President cooperate. You can fly in even when the President is in town if you file a flight plan, have a mode C transponder, and communicate with Air Traffic Control. PWG is outside the 10-mile “no-fly” zone, but inside the 30-mile zone when the expanded TFR is in effect. Weather decisions are up to you of course.

Tickets are $20 per person if purchased prior to April 30, and $25 per person after that date, up to and including purchase at the door.

OH, I almost forgot.
In case you're wondering about that truck,
in its previous life it was a '75 Chevy Suburban.
The conversion is a kit and the truck was built by Montys brother.
