EAA Chapter 59 had the pleasure of hosting a Christmas party for the kids of the members of the U.S. Air Force C-130 support group currently stationed at TSTC-L-3.
We managed to get our building occupancy permit just in time and hosted the party in our new hanger.
What a way to hold an inaugural event, The U.S. Air Force, their wives and their kids and Santa Clause.
The weather was perfect and we could not have asked for a better day.

Santa arrived by Airplane of course.

Santa was accompanied by his trusty Elf sidekick.

Mr. Orlan Scott did the honors as pilot.

And all the kids and family were standing by with high anticipation.

Santa provided each child with a gift specifically selected for them.

And even Santa's trusted pilot got a gift and a chance to sit on Santa's lap. I'll bet it been a while since Orlan did that.

And after the festivities were over Orlan even took the time to give some airplane rides for a few of the participants. Here are our latest Young Eagles.

Here MSgt Stephanie Morris (Mom) shows her son around the cockpit of Billy Jacks Rocket.
Now if that's not a future pilot I've never seen one.

We here at EAA Chapter 59 would like to thank the members of the U.S. Air Force 645 MATS/DET 4 group based at TSTC for giving us the opportunity to be of service to them and their families, and also for giving us a great event as our first official chapter event in our new headquarters and hanger.
Believe me folks, it has been our pleasure.
