EAA Chapter 59 2007 Monty Suffern's Rag-Time Piano Fest.

All I can say is WOW !!!
If you were there, we know you enjoyed it. If you were not there then you missed a really great concert in a hanger.
I think I can honestly say that Monty's Rag-Time Piano Festival (Concerts) are very quickly becoming one of the Waco area's première Piano
Concert events. Yes, it's held in an aircraft hanger, which to some people may sound a little strange.
But trust me, this thing is destined for far more acclaim than this little web site can deliver.

EAA Chapter 59 holds these events as a fund raiser to help support our hanger and our youth activities programs. Over the years we have held many fund raising events of all different kinds. Some have been a fairly successful, occasionally we have had some that didn't do so well.
But Monty Suffern's piano concerts are by far the most enjoyable and perhaps our most successful events ever.
When people are willing to drive the two hundred miles from San Antonio to Waco, stay for the entire concert, and then promise to come back next year, (and bring more friends), you can bet they didn't come for the roast pork sandwich, (Sorry Boyce).

Monty has assembled a cast of some of the states best performers to assist him in producing what can only be described as an event that is destined to far out grow our little hanger. This concert event has the potential of becoming a Waco area music phenomenon.

Montys guests were Donald Keeney and Larisa Migachyov, along with Elizabeth Clark. They all came, not only free of charge, but in Larisa´s case, paying her own way from San Antonio. That is all fine by them, so there is no real need to mention it in any public forum, but just to let you know the debt of gratitude we owe to these fine and generous people.
